The Limnisa Centre

 As you can see from the date this event is now over, but we hope to do something similar next summer (2008). There is a chapbook about the Centre and the writing we did which you can download as a free PDF here: CHAPBOOK.

This is an event organised by members of the UKAuthors.com website and will consist of a holiday for writers at a beautiful location in the Peloponnese region of Greece, from Saturday 7th July to Saturday 14th July 2007 inclusive. The centre is located at Methana which is just opposite the island of Aegina about 29 Nautical Miles South West of Athens, and can be reached by coach and ferry crossing (two hours) from Athens Airport, at a total cost of €13 .

There will be workshop sessions and social events and plenty of time to write or to enjoy what the location has to offer. At the end of the event we will compile a printed colour brochure of what we have written and our photographs, artwork and thoughts. This will be distributed free to all participants and also made available on Lulu.com or a similar website so that it can be available to all.

The total cost for the week is £200, which covers full board, wine, snacks and Internet access. There are a total of ten places, and we will require a 25% deposit (£50) by the end of this month (September 2006) in order to secure a place.
